Plagiarism Policy

The Journal of Science and Technology (JST) upholds strict standards of academic integrity and originality in research publications. Authors are required to submit a Turnitin report along with their manuscript submission to verify the originality of their work.

JST allows a maximum similarity index of 25% for submitted manuscripts, with no more than 5% similarity from a single source. Authors must ensure that their work is original and has not been previously published elsewhere, either in part or in full. Proper citation and attribution of borrowed content, including text, figures, tables, or ideas, are essential.

Upon submission, authors are responsible for providing a Turnitin report demonstrating the originality of their manuscript. Failure to submit a Turnitin report or evidence of plagiarism may result in rejection of the manuscript. Authors are solely responsible for verifying the originality of their work. The submitted Turnitin report serves as confirmation of the manuscript's adherence to ethical standards and academic integrity.

Authors are encouraged to review and adhere to the journal’s author guidelines and ethical standards to ensure compliance with these policies. JST values the importance of academic honesty and transparency, and appreciates the cooperation of authors in maintaining these standards.
