Author Guidelines

Ensure your manuscript is meticulously formatted according to the specified guidelines. Utilize Times New Roman font, size 12, maintaining double spacing and left justification throughout. Keep paragraphs separate with a space to enhance readability, while avoiding page breaks. Set margins to 2.5cm on all sides for A4 paper dimensions (21.0×29.7cm). Employ block letters and bold style for major section titles (Abstract, Introduction, Materials and Methods/Methodology, Results and Discussion, Acknowledgments, References), as well as sub-sections within these categories. For full papers, ensure your manuscript does not exceed 12 typed pages, inclusive of Figures, Graphs, and Tables. Short communications should be limited to 6 pages. Additionally, adhere strictly to APA style guidelines for referencing. By following these instructions diligently, your manuscript will meet the requisite standards for submission to the Journal of Science and Technology.

References in the Text:

Literature citations in the text should indicate the author’s surname (last name) with the year of publication in parentheses, e.g., Rahman (2000). If there are two authors, ‘and’ must be used between the two names, e.g., Rahman and Khan (2006). When reference is made to a work by more than two authors, the first name followed by et al. should be used, e.g., Roy et al. (2005). If there is more than one work by the same authors in the same year cited, they should be distinguished by the letters a, b, c, etc.

Reference list:

Authors submitting manuscripts to this journal are required to adhere to the APA style guidelines for the references list. This entails organizing references alphabetically by the authors' last names, providing complete publication details for each source, and ensuring accurate formatting and punctuation. Each entry should include the author's last name followed by their initials, the publication year in parentheses, the title of the work in sentence case, the name of the journal or book in italics, the volume and issue number (if applicable), and the page range. Authors should also follow the latest edition of the APA Publication Manual for guidance on proper citation formatting and style. By following these guidelines diligently, authors can ensure their references list meets the standards required for submission to the journal.
